Excavator Hire FAQs
Which size excavator do I need?
If access is tight (a standard side gate or a narrow path), go the 1.0 tonne – its tracks pull in to 710mm. If you have room and need to dig deeper or break concrete, the 1.7 tonne is the better choice.
Can I get a skip bin delivered at the same time?
Yes. Hire a heavy waste skip with your excavator and the soil, concrete and rubble can go straight in the bin. Heavy waste bins have no weight limits.
How long can I hire it for?
